State Tournament Information

STATE SOFTBALL INFORMATION
- Congratulations to Coach Gahring and the Xavier Softball Team for earning a spot in this year’s Class 4A State Softball Tournament. State tournament games will be played at the Harlan Rogers Sports Complex in Fort Dodge. Our first game will be Monday, July 21st at 10:00am against Pella on the Channel Seeds Field . The winner of this match will play in the semi-finals on Wednesday, July 23rd at 10:00am on Channel Seeds Field. The championship game for the 4A schools will be on Thursday, July 24th at 5:00pm on Channel Seeds Field.

  Tickets will be sold through Bound for $15 (plus processing fees) beginning at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 17. The ticket also includes your parking fee. There are no cash sales but there will be debit/credit card readers on site at Rogers Park.

  State Quarterfinals: 10:00 a.m. – Class 4A First Round – Channel Seeds Field
  
  TUESDAY
  Consolation Round: (only if needed) 10:00 a.m. – Class 4A Consolation – Yankee Field
  
  WEDNESDAY
  State Semi-Finals 10:00 a.m. – Class 4A Semifinals – Channel Seeds Field
  
  THURSDAY
  State Championship 3:30 p.m. – Class 4A Third Place - Iowa Central Field 5:00 p.m. – Class 4A Championship – Channel Seeds Field
- PARKING
  
  Parking will be North of the complex. Parking is $5 per person and is included with your $15 ticket. There are no cash sales for parking. Rogers Park and IGHSAU Policies.
- EVENT POLICIES
  
  NO SUNFLOWER SEEDS OR PEANUTS IN A SHELL are allowed in the complex or dugouts – this includes players, coaches and fans!
  Concessions and food trucks are available! So please respect these services and no outside food, drink or snacks allowed in the complex.
  There are no drinking fountains available in the complex. There is a bottle filling station located at the restroom on the south complex.
  Any personal cups, Yetis’, thermos must be empty upon entrance and will be checked. Ice is acceptable in the cup.
  Bags, chair bags and wagons will be checked.
  Pets are not allowed in the complex – please leave them at home.
  The entire complex is a smoke-free zone which includes the parking lot.
  Tents and umbrellas are not allowed in the bleachers. There are limited areas in the outfield, first come first serve. Please be respectful of those around you.
  Noisemakers, signs and banners are not allowed.
  Parking is now INCLUDED with each admissions ticket.
