Xavier Football to Celebrate Senior Night on Friday
Congratulations to Coach Schulte and the Xavier Football team on an electric start to the season with a 31–0 shutout win over North Scott Friday night. The Saints showed strength on both sides of the ball and set the tone for what looks to be a promising season. They’ll be back on the field this Friday for the home opener and Senior Night as they take on Western Dubuque—come out and cheer them on!
Volleyball Weekend Victory & Road Challenge
Our Saints Volleyball team had an impressive showing at the Grinnell Invite, going 3–1 on the weekend and notching a big win over #1-ranked Clear Creek-Amana, a huge early-season statement! Although they fell to Liberty on the road later in the week, the Saints continue to battle hard and improve each time they hit the court. Their determination and depth are already showing.
Saints Tennis Keeps Rolling
The Girls Tennis team continued their dominant season with another big win, this time against Iowa City High, where the Saints won every match. Confidence is high and momentum is building for this talented squad.
Cross Country Keeps the Pace
The Cross Country team had a strong outing at the Prairie Invite this weekend. Mia Deegan finished 3rd overall for the girls, and Lance Mueggenberg placed 9th overall for the boys. In the Fresh/Soph division, Andrew Allen claimed 1st place and broke the school record in the 4K with a time of 13:36, a remarkable performance. Great things are happening across all levels of the program.
